Salvinia minima is a great floating plant for aquariums and ponds that is easy to grow. It is actually a type of water fern.
$2.00- You will receive a small portion approximately the size in the photos with the white background.
Salvinia minima requires very little care and will grow in almost any type of water conditions. The one thing it does not like is quick moving water.
Salvinia minima grows by fragmentation. The individual plants will grow longer and longer and eventually parts of it will break off and continue to grow. This means that Salvinia minima can grow quite quickly!
If you need to get rid of some please do not introduce it into any local lakes or streams as it may take over and have a negative effect on the ecosystem.
The plants will be shipped priority mail with a 1-3 day arrival time. I won’t ship below freezing temperatures.
The water lettuce is grown in tanks with snails and duckweed, but I will do my best to make sure none of this ends up in your order!
If the plants arrive dead, send me a message with a picture of the plant within 24 hrs and I will issue a refund.
Please send me a message if you have any questions or concerns!
